Kimoto Ltd. was founded in 1974 as subsidiary office of Kimoto Co. Ltd. Tokyo. The main activities are the sales of Kimoto products in whole Europe, South Africa and in the Middle East.
For the dispatch a stockroom and converting-facilities have been rented at the bonded warehouse Embraport in Embrach.

In April 1999 Kimoto Ltd. moved the office from Zurich to Rümlang.
Kimoto Ltd. celebrated the 30th anniversary in 2004.
